Birthday party fun

Elisabeth had a little birthday party for five of her friends on Monday afternoon. Sometimes even the low-key birthday parties that we do feel like a huge undertaking, and I was grateful that one of my friends ended up staying to help.

Anyway, it was a lovely party, although I didn't get as many photos as I wish I had -- too much else going on, I think! But here are some highlights:

Birthday wreath

I've been looking at your photos over and
over, for about 15 min now. I wish I was there. The photos are lovely, they really made me feel part of it .

Well and I was wondering what was in the goodies bags? ( they just are amazing Grace) Ooh and than the wearth, I never saw something like that before. I love the idea !

Anyway I think the party was wonderfull, right?! Elle sure looked wonderfull too, what a true princess she is ! And what a super mama you are. Elle is a lucky girl.

Big hug my friend.

Oh how I would have loved to have been in attendance. It all looks so wonderful. Love the wreath, and the goody bags so much. Happy birthday again sweet girl!

I wish I (we) could have come too. It's so lovely and simple and PERFECT.

Lucky girl. I hope she had a marvelous time!

Awwww! So pretty! I am glad it went well! How was the puppet show? It looked loke a blast :).

Looks like a great celebration! I agree, that even the smallest celebrations, feel huge! It is such a special time, and I always feel as though, I need to make it absolutely perfect, which harbors, much anxiety, for me, although, it is always so well, worth it! Lucky, Elle and all her friends!

Grace..everything looks beautiful..so personal..I love that. I hope she had a wonderful wonderful day..and that her momma got some rest afterwards. Absolutely "enchanting" :)

I love that you sewed up the gift bags. Relatively easy I'm sure but you needed to take the time to do it. I still have warm memories of my Mom making wonderful individual crown-like hats out of foil for one of my birthdays. These sorts of things stay close to the heart! (And certainly much more than all the commercial stuff out there!) You're a good Mom Grace!

Hello :)

Your party looks so tasteful... such a relief from all the Bigger and Louder and More that seems to be the trend nowadays!
