So sorry! Baby J's eardrum ruptured (he's been sick) today while he was with my mom. I've been assured by his physician's office and all of my hippie-mama recources that this is perfectly normal and won't impact his hearing or anything. BUT ... no drawing until the morning. So, so sorry. I know that there are more than 100 of you waiting with baited breath. I promise. In the morning!!

And my husband, who has been having a hard month at work. And people with dolls to win after all that.**
Poor baby, poor you. Hope it heals quickly now the pressure is gone. Ay, ay, ay.
Let the 'thousands' wait for him to settle. The whole world stops in our eyes for these Mummy moments!!!

Ouch! I remember being terrified when this happened to my daughter! It did heal well, though. No worries and lots of hugs!

Oh dear! I do hope that you are able to keep sweet baby Jem comfortable. Poor little guy. Sounds like Mama is in high demand right now. Try to take it easy on yourself too. I'll be thinking of all of you and hoping that both babe and pup are on the mend soon.

I hope your baby is better soon! You're right, his hearing will be fine. It happened to me as an adult, and actually I couldn't hear out of that side for a month, but it did come back. Maybe as a child, he will heal quicker. I was also pregnant at the time and I heal very slowly when I'm pregnant.
