It is snowing really hard outside. I've got three children working on a project in the basement, a baby, a dog, and a kitty taking naps. Best way to spend a February day.
Over the fall, I knitted this little sweater for John (I completed it in December, so it's officially one of my Crazy December completed projects). It was the first thing I knitted after he was born, both in terms of picking up my needles as well as completing. I actually had something else entirely in mind to knit for him, but in looking for the perfect pattern on Ravelry, I came across this one instead. And in looking for the perfect oatmeal-colored yarn, I came across this lovely gray instead (it is a bit of a tonal gray but it photographs as a solid). I loved knitting and then putting it together. It's one of my favorite knits ever. I say that about a lot of things I knit. But this is my current favorite.
